Inform the land lord about your move in advance and settle all the dues and rents and get the no objection letter and let the building watchman be aware that you are moving and get the permission for the packing crew to be in. |

If possible do not disconnect the water and electricity before the packing date |
|
Defrost the refrigerator and the freezers at least 10 hours in prior to the packing time
|
|
Do not use the oven and gas-cooker in the day of packing |

5. Get a black & white confirmation from the mover , that they will not take up another job with higher profit and disappoint you in the day of packing, if possible give small advance and get receipt from the packing company to confirm the job. |

Air way bill or Bill of lading must be collected before you travel |

An attested packing list is necessary at the port of loading as well at the destination to complete the customs formalities

|
If the LCL cargo get the destination agents full style address including the telephone numbers and contact person |
|
Do not accept any one from the street to do the packing , always demand the professional crew employed by the company with proper uniform |
|
If the container move let the cargo be stacked by professionals to avoid breakage |
|
Dismantled furniture hardware must be packed and marked along with the same furniture parts to avoid missing |
|
Piano , LCD TV and Grandfather clock must be wooden crated |
